Delete your Rekodam account
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app or from this page. Nothing is hidden behind an email request.
In the app
- Sign in at app.rekodam.com or in the Rekodam app.
- Open the menu, then Settings → Privacy & your data.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Confirm your password.
Your account is then scheduled for deletion and finished after 7 days. Signing in again during those 7 days cancels it.
If you own a business
An owner must first close the business, or hand it to someone else, so their team and books are not left stranded. Closing a business is on the same page: it stops trading, switches off online payments, cancels the subscription, and keeps your records readable and downloadable for 90 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in — you can no longer access Rekodam.
- Your name, email address, phone number and location.
- Your team memberships are ended.
What is kept, and why
- Sales, customer payments, debts, expenses and stock movements belong to the business's books and are kept for 7 years for bookkeeping and tax. Anything you recorded is shown as "Former team member" — your personal details are gone from it.
- Staff activity history: 2 years. Technical and email logs: 90 days.
Can't sign in?
Email privacy@rekodam.com from the address on the account and we will complete the deletion for you within 30 days.
